Good Day Formasiers!
Another great news coming from Formasiers who are just snatching several achievements on national and international competitions within a few weeks ago!
The first is ABP or Asian British Parliamentary which held at Krabi, Thailand this year. It’s an asian-level debating competition which participated by universities from all across Asia such as from Malaysia, Thailand, India, Japan and many more.
We congratulate our debaters, Chairun Nisa Huwaida Darmansyah and Jessica Bella Situmeang for coming home and bringing the title as the Grandfinalist! In the Grandfinal, the team were debating with Keio University, Universitas Indonesia and Universitas Gajah Mada under the motion “This house celebrates the rise of non-traditional political movements (eg Trumpism, En Marche, Alternative for Germany, etc)”.
Secondly, we have Newbies UI 2017 that was held in Universitas Indonesia. This competition is only special for those university students across Indonesia whose never joined a competition before, which is the reason why they called ‘newbies’. During the casebuilding, they got special assistance from prominent debaters in Indonesia, which also a part of trensferring knowledge to our debaters.
We are so thrilled to hear that our delegates Galuh Fitri Amalia, Ramadhe Rossy adn Fahrul Ahyan managed to became the runner up of the competition! Not only that, Galuh and Ramadhe managed to became co-best speakers and Fahrul becoming the 5th.
Third competition was BINUS ECOM that was conducted by Bina Nusantara University. ECOM is a natinal level of english competition such as speech, newscasting, story telling and spelling bee. FORMASI sent its few delegates and we got several achievements that we are proud of. Those are
