National Newbie Debate Competition 2013 is an event that annually held by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, it is the second time after hold last year, this tournament used BP style.
Universitas Brawijaya Send two teams, UB A (Haris Apriyanto and Ammanah Alfian Muhammadiyah) and UB B (Bayu Hadi Siswoyo and Siska Nurmayasari)
After facing two days in preliminary rounds, both teams broke to quarterfinal round, UB B Broke in 4th position with 11 VP and UB A broke in 9th Position with 10 VP.
Unlucky UB A failed to reach semifinal round after beaten by UI and UGM in quarterfinal, but UB B did a great job and reached semifinal round.
But in semifinal round, UB B defeated by UGM and UI and made them failed to Grand Final round.
Although none of teams reached Grand final, but three of our troops grabbed top 10 best speaker title as the most institution that send their troops in top 10 best speakers : #3 Siska Nurmayasari, #7 Haris Apriyanto and Bayu Hadi Siswoyo.
