Malaysia Debating Open 2013 is an international debating competition held in Malacca, Malaysia . Brawijaya University as a form of consistency in debate at national and interntaional level, UB send two teams as well as the only institution that sends a representative of Indonesia in this prestigious event.
UB 1 consists of M. Nur Rizky Oceano, Quentrees Regar and Aditya Janu Perdana and UB 2 consists of M. Fahri Akbar, Renny Fitriani and Zelly Sidi Zamzami and Dinda Novitasari and Pieter Hadinata as the N1 Adjudicators.
After having very tight debating with teams from other countries, This time,both of UB teams still unlucky. From 7 Preliminary Rounds, bothteams, UB 1 and UB 2 got 3 VP and based on these results, UB 1 stay in 45th Position and UB 2 in 47th position from 90 teams. On the other hand the results are quite encouraging with a good standing speakers : #73 Aditya Janu Perdana, #83 Quentrees Regar, #84 M. Nur Rizky Oceano, #108 Zelly Sidi Zamzami, #111 M. Fahri Akbar and #119 Renny Fitriani from 270 speakers.
All of you guys already did a great job. perhaps it could be a big learning to be better.
