FORMASI UB succes to keep the supremacy of East Java Debating in Smanisda English Debate Championships (SMASH) 2012. Sent three teams in the competition Formasi A (Ope,Queen,Adit), Formasi B (Cici,Zem,Renny) and Formasi C (Fatimah,Ara,Dyaz). Formasi A grab the clean sweeper VP in a 4 preliminary row. Also Formasi B and Formasi C succes to break to octofinal round. Aditya Janu Perdana (Formasi A) succes to grab Best Speaker Title. Formasi A meet Formasi C in Quarterfinal Round under motion THBT Human Rights should be Considered Culturally Relatives, Formasi A go to the semifinal round after beat their mates with close margin. In Semifinal Round Formasi A meet Formasi B, Formasi B succes to break until grand final round. In Grand Final and 3rd Place All Formasi done their job to beat the opponents. Champions, 2nd Runner-Up, and Best Speaker entitled to Formasi UB.
